Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jyoti Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabio Cusano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans comes into the arena with Outboy da Rude Boy blaring out of the sound system. Jyoti Evans has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fabio Cusano!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Cusano checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jyoti Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans scoring well with a low kick there.
Evans throws a leg kick but Cusano sees it coming and moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cusano.
Evans has managed to clinch.
Cusano tries to score a body lock takedown but Evans shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Evans lands a damaging elbow.
Evans works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Cusano manages to pull guard.
Evans controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Cusano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Evans can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Evans wants to control from the top but Cusano keeps moving.
Evans is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Evans got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cusano has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Evans has managed to get both his arms back between Cusano's legs - danger averted.
Evans is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jyoti Evans just wasn't active enough.
Evans tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cusano was well out of range. Poor timing from Evans.
Evans clinches up against the cage.
Cusano tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Evans smiles and moves away.
Jyoti Evans has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabio Cusano.
Evans rushes Cusano and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Evans throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Evans landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Evans landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Evans connects with a nasty looking knee right to Cusano's face.
It looks like Fabio Cusano has been cut.
The referee calls for Evans to work.
A knee to the head by Evans.
Cusano tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Evans smiles and moves away.
Evans is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Evans wants to slow Cusano down by chopping away at his legs.
Cusano shoots in for a takedown but Evans shows good takedown defense.
Cusano ducks right into an uppercut from Evans.
Cusano takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Cusano is rocked!
Evans sends Cusano crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Evans is motioning to the referee to let Cusano up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Cusano is still on wobbly legs! Can Evans finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Evans knocks out Cusano with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Evans before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Evans picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jyoti Evans!
