Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joikhaaja shoots in for a takedown but Koistinen shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Joikhaaja throws a leg kick which misses Koistinen's front leg but catches the back leg as Koistinen tries to avoid it.
Koistinen throws a low kick, looking for Joikhaaja's leg but Joikhaaja calmly moves out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
BOOM! Koistinen connects with a massive shot to the dome!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kristus Koistinen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Koistinen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

After the fight, Kristus Koistinen was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
