With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vlad Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beck misses with a wild body shot.
Kersikov throws a leg kick but Beck sees it coming and moves out of range.
Beck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kersikov moves away.
Beck stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kersikov.
Kersikov fakes the leg kick and cracks Beck in the body.
Kersikov displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Beck uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kersikov.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kersikov.
We've been hearing reports that Beck has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kersikov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Luka Beck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've been informed that Kersikov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Beck wants to control from the top but Kersikov keeps moving.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kersikov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beck can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beck shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Beck changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kersikov looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Beck moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Kersikov.
Kersikov can't do much from the bottom here.

Kersikov is looking to regain half guard here but Beck keeps moving and retains side control.
Beck is looking to take a break and control but Kersikov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Kersikov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Kersikov is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Beck's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Beck is thwarting Kersikov's attempts to control the position.

Kersikov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Kersikov wants to get back to full guard but Beck has mounted him!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Luka Beck.
