Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Sugden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sugden comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I'm shipping up to Boston kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Hugh Campos has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sugden scores with a jab to the body.
Campos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sugden swivels and escapes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Campos.
Sugden misses with a two punch combination.
Sugden lands a nice shot that snaps Campos's head back.

Campos shoots in looking for a takedown but Sugden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Campos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Campos. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sugden is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Sugden is trying to force a seperation but Campos has the dominant position.
Sugden is pressed up against the cage. Campos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sugden down to the mat. Sugden avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
A left and a right from Sugden both land. Nice combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Campos takes the fight into the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sugden won't allow Campos to sweep him here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sugden decides to stand back up. Sugden steps back and let's Campos get back to his feet.
Campos closes the distance and clinches up with Sugden, looking for a takedown. Campos pushes Sugden against the cage but Sugden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Sugden connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sugden bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Sugden is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Sugden slaps away a takedown attempt from Campos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horrible takedown by Campos or perhaps it was just good defense by Sugden which made him look bad.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
