The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vickers tries to clinch
and Naamahaara counters with an outside leg kick.
Jack Vickers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Naamahaara goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Vickers tries to clinch but Naamahaara is having none of it.
Naamahaara feints and then cracks Vickers's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vickers down.
A slapping body kick lands there for Naamahaara.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vickers tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Naamahaara has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gladiators **ELITE** Steel Penn in the buildup to the fight.
Vickers takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Vickers takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Vickers tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Naamahaara paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Naamahaara throws a quick inside leg kick.

Naamahaara closes the distance and clinches.

Vickers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Naamahaara has Vickers up against the cage in a clinch.
Naamahaara lands a nice elbow.
Naamahaara lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Vickers can't find room to land a body shot as Naamahaara controls the action.
Naamahaara blocks a punch to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head punch on the inside from Vickers fails to land.

Naamahaara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fighters circling - Vickers throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Vickers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Naamahaara counters with a thumping low kick.
Vickers tries to clinch but Naamahaara moves away
and Naamahaara counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Naamahaara cracks Vickers on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Vickers falls backwards against the cage. Naamahaara follows up with more strikes that drop Vickers to his knees. Naamahaara keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Vickers! This one is all over!
