The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones swings for the body but Redman moves out of range.
Jones on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Redman scores with a shot to the body.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redman was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones.
Redman scores with a jab to the head.

Redman will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Redman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Redman throws a hook but Jones blocks it.

Jones misses with a hook. Redman ducked under it nicely.
Jones swings away with a body shot that misses
and Redman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Jones jabs Redman right on the nose. Redman blinks but takes it well.
Jones takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Redman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Redman will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've been told by Jones's head coaches at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Redman counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Redman on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Redman fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jones.
Jones throws a right and a left that Redman avoids nicely.
Jones takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Jones is breathing heavily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Redman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Redman with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Redman pushes Jones away with a front kick.
Jones drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Redman slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Redman lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Redman takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Redman drops Jones with a big left hand! Jones is injured, injured bad! Redman jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
