Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrell Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miles has chosen Tupac - Only God Can Judge Me as his entrance music. Abaka Khan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Abaka Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Darrell Miles!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.


It looks like Darrell Miles has been cut.
Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Miles waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Khan.
Khan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Miles throws out a loose jab but Khan uses good head movement to avoid it.

Miles throws a lazy right hand but Khan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Miles stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Miles takes a swing at Khan's ribcage but misses.
Khan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Khan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Miles.
Miles's corner calls for a 1-2. Miles obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
We've been informed that Miles has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Miles is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Miles throws a right and a left that Khan avoids nicely.
Miles lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
