The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcpherson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mcpherson tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Mcpherson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Silva can't break the clinch.
Silva is trying to break the clinch but Mcpherson is controlling him.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mcpherson.

Mcpherson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcpherson lands in his opponent's guard.
