The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Mitsurugi.
Mitsurugi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Mitsurugi throws a body punch but Barathean moves out of range.
Mitsurugi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mitsurugi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barathean has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Barathean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barathean will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mitsurugi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barathean's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barathean chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mitsurugi can pounce on him.

Barathean has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mitsurugi.
Mitsurugi plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Geoffrey Barathean has been cut.

Good leg kick by Mitsurugi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
