Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gyawang Lhad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kronik. Lhad has chosen Iced Earth - Anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Gyawang Lhad has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams shoots in looking for a takedown but Lhad manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Adams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Lhad pushes him off.
Lhad uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lhad tries to clinch but Adams moves out of range.
Adams works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Gyawang Lhad has been cut.
Gyawang Lhad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lhad fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adams avoids the head kick by Lhad.
Adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lhad counters with an inside leg kick.
Adams misses with a takedown
and Lhad counters with a slapping leg kick.

Adams fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lhad, pushing him back against the cage.
Adams takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Brian Adams has been cut.

Adams shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lhad counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lhad.

Adams manages to break the clinch.
Adams takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Lhad clinches up with Adams and pushes him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lhad breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Adams tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lhad swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lhad putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Adams in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Adams is pressed up against the cage. Lhad has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Adams down to the mat. Adams avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lhad lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Lhad throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Adams's head.

Lhad shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Lhad keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lhad lands a nice leg kick that just misses Adams's sensitive parts.
Adams takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Lhad throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Adams stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Lhad follows into mount!

Adams is rocked!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lhad postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Adams badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Lhad around the waist but Lhad pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Lhad is the winner by TKO! Lhad jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gyawang Lhad!
After winning the bout, Gyawang Lhad thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
