Stakanu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Stakanu throws an overhand right that lands on Supernova's shoulder, as Supernova tries to avoid the shot.

Supernova tries a head kick but it misses.
Stakanu's corner calls for a 1-2. Stakanu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Sunny Supernova has been cut.
Stakanu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stakanu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Supernova throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Supernova finds it's way through Stakanu's defenses.

Stakanu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Supernova sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stakanu somewhat.
Stakanu throws out a loose jab but Supernova uses good head movement to avoid it.

Supernova throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Stakanu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Supernova.

Sunny Supernova seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stakanu shoots in for a takedown but Supernova shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Supernova moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Supernova is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Stakanu ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Supernova throws a jab when Stakanu was well out of range.
