The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

TupperIII moves out of range as Chick throws a body kick.
TupperIII takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
We've been told by Chick's head coaches at Spetznaz Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

TupperIII stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chick swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

TupperIII thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chick lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and TupperIII has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from TupperIII and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw TupperIII working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
