Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phan Tran Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yusuke Urameshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Dukes of Hazard Theme Song - Waylon Jennings. Urameshi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Two Piece by Tech N9ne. Yusuke Urameshi is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phan Tran Le!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yusuke Urameshi!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urameshi moves out of range as Le strikes.
Urameshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Le misses with a head kick.
Urameshi connects with a leg kick. Le looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Urameshi ducks under a wild hook from Le.
Urameshi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Le misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Urameshi throws a lazy body kick
and Le counters with a thumping low kick.
Urameshi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Le checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A decent looking cross lands there for Le.
Urameshi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Urameshi avoids the head kick by Le.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Urameshi, right into the meat.
Le slips a jab from Urameshi.
Urameshi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Le connects with a body shot that sends Urameshi's belly button to the back.
Le just misses with a punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Urameshi cracks Le with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Le uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Le dodges the punch combination from Urameshi.
Le swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Le looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Urameshi lands the left hand.
Urameshi will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Urameshi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Le misses the shot to the body.
Urameshi tries to land a front kick but Le steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Urameshi misses with a low kick.
Urameshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Le misses with a hook
and Urameshi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Nice shot by Le.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Le throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Urameshi tries a head kick but it misses.
Le takes one to the side of the head.
Le throws a head kick that half lands.
A head kick misses from Le.
Urameshi misses the jab.

Urameshi drives through and clinches with Le against the cage.
Le taking a breather.
Urameshi has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Le tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Le lands with a right to the head.
Le swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Urameshi lands a shoulder strike.
Urameshi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Urameshi escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Le swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Urameshi looks to land a right hand but Le moved out of range.
Urameshi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Le manages to avoid it.
Urameshi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
A low kick from Urameshi misses
enabling Le to counter with a crisp jab.
Urameshi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


Urameshi is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Urameshi is still on wobbly legs! Can Le finish him?
Le landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Urameshi looks winded!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Le has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Urameshi - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Le, and another! Urameshi is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Phan Tran Le!
A relieved looking Phan Tran Le thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
