Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tenchi Fuchigami!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuchigami closes the distance and pushes Toryakawa back into the ropes.
Fuchigami crunches a lovely knee into Toryakawa's ribcage.
Toryakawa is working for takedown but Fuchigami is calmly controlling the position for now.
Toryakawa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fuchigami lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Ryu Toryakawa has been cut.
Fuchigami landing knees to the head.
Fuchigami told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Toryakawa wants to get back to striking at distance but Fuchigami won't allow it.
Fuchigami putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Toryakawa in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Fuchigami connects with a nasty looking knee right to Toryakawa's face.
Fuchigami keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Toryakawa's efforts to push away.
Fuchigami with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Toryakawa is rocked!
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Toryakawa tries to pull guard but Fuchigami holds him up against the ropes and eventually Toryakawa drops back down to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fuchigami lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Fuchigami scores with a knee to the head.
Oh Toryakawa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Toryakawa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fuchigami walks away with a smile on his face. Toryakawa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Toryakawa seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryu Toryakawa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fuchigami drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fuchigami with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Fuchigami arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Toryakawa's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tenchi Fuchigami!
