Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slick Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Scarpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick comes into the arena with Women Lose Weight blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A chopping leg kick lands by Scarpa.
Scarpa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rick is out of range.
Scarpa lands with a nice body kick.
Rick avoids the head kick by Scarpa.
Rick is looking to clinch but Scarpa is avoiding it.
Rick closes the distance looking to clinch

and Scarpa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Scarpa trying to control the position from guard on top but Rick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Rick is looking for a triangle but Scarpa pushes his legs off easily.
Scarpa has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Cooker. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Scarpa works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Scarpa passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Rick!
Rick really is a fat lump.
Scarpa postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rick looks a forlorn figure.
Rick slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rick regains full guard. Nicely done.
Scarpa lands a couple of digs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Scarpa drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Scarpa jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Rick tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scarpa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Rick tries to get to full guard but Scarpa has control of the leg.
Rick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rick tries to get out of the position.
Rick has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scarpa is working away from the top position though.
Scarpa tries to pass to full mount but Rick defends it.
We've been hearing good reports from Rick's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Scarpa content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Scarpa slips a nice elbow through Rick's hands, connecting with Rick's forehead.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rick is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gregory Scarpa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Rick moves out of range of the body kick.
Scarpa connects with a leg kick. Rick looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Rick wants to clinch but Scarpa slips to the side

and Scarpa counters with a takedown into side control.
Rick tries to control but Scarpa manages to take his back.
Scarpa gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

It looks like Slick Rick has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scarpa wants to control but Rick is keeping busy.

Rick looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Scarpa lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.

Slick Rick's cut is getting worse.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Slick Rick's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gregory Scarpa!
After winning the bout, Gregory Scarpa thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Slick Rick was interviewed post fight and said 'I darn near turned pale, and because of betrayal they indicted me, and gave me an impossible bail. '.
