Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between San Lenn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Purple Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lenn fails to land with a series of punches.

Haze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lenn's waist but Lenn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haze off to one side.

We've been told by Lenn's head coaches at Academia Ipanema that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lenn lands with a hook. Haze tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Lenn throws a hook to the side of Haze's head but Haze sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Haze uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lenn.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Haze takes one to the side of the head.
Horrible takedown by Haze or perhaps it was just good defense by Lenn which made him look bad.

Haze looks for the body kick but Lenn saw that one coming.

Haze has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Lenn throws a series of punches but Haze avoids them all with ease.

Haze drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Lenn has a closed guard, preventing Haze from standing up.
Haze wants to control from the top but Lenn keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Purple Haze.
Lenn thuds his right hand into Haze's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lenn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lenn is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Purple Haze's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Lenn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
