Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaylord Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Mccarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stephen Mccarthy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Potter takes the fight into the clinch.
Potter prevents Mccarthy from breaking the clinch.
Potter really is a fat lump.

Mccarthy gets control of Potter's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mccarthy will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Potter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mccarthy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mccarthy controls Potter momentarily but Potter frees himself.
Potter slips nicely into half guard.
Mccarthy is looking for a sweep. Potter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Potter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mccarthy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Potter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Potter is trying for a kimura here. Mccarthy looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Potter wins by kimura!
