Axelsson has chosen one bourbon one scotch one beer as his entrance music. Ansgar Axelsson acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axelsson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kung.
Kung lands a head shot.
Kung swings for the body but Axelsson moves out of range.
Axelsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kung moves away.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kung checks a leg kick.
Axelsson checks a leg kick.
Axelsson misses with a wild body shot.
Kung tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Axelsson stuns Kung with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Axelsson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kung throws a hook but Axelsson blocks it.
Axelsson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kung's jab looks to have found its range, popping Axelsson under the eye.

It looks like Ansgar Axelsson has been cut.
Axelsson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Axelsson lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kung checks a low kick from Axelsson.
Axelsson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Axelsson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Axelsson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

We've been hearing reports that Kung has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kung throws a push kick but Axelsson slaps the foot to one side.

Axelsson darts in and clinches Kung up against the cage.

Kung takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Axelsson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kung has time to react.
Axelsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kung throws a body punch but Axelsson moves out of range.

Axelsson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kung stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Axelsson.

Axelsson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kung doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kung pivots, looking for a leg kick but Axelsson is out of range and Kung settles back down.

Kung moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Kung is rocked!
Axelsson blocks a low kick nicely.
Axelsson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kung shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Axelsson as he avoids it easily.
Kung goes for a double leg but Axelsson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Axelsson continues to drive forward.

Axelsson lands a right hand.
Kung swings wildly with an uppercut but Axelsson uses good head movement to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kung on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Axelsson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kung backwards.
Oh Kung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kung goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kung seems to have got his legs back now.

Kung tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Kung struggles to land a body shot inside as Axelsson controls his hands.
Kung lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Axelsson pushes Kung back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kung.
