Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Soderberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Ivey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivey comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Friday kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Phil Ivey has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Soderberg's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Soderberg has his foot on Ivey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ivey works his way back into a safe position though.
Oh Soderberg is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ivey gets to his feet and stands over Soderberg, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Soderberg felt that one! Ivey unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Soderberg from any more punishment!
