Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ronan Gaara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cedric Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the ring it seems that Ronan Gaara has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronan Gaara seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaara avoids the head kick by Murphy.
Murphy misses with an uppercut
and Gaara makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Murphy lands a jab.
Murphy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gaara manages to avoid it.
Murphy misses with the body kick
and Gaara counters with a left to the body.
Murphy swings widly with a right hand
and Gaara counters with a stiff right hand.
Murphy throws a sloppy head kick and Gaara moves out of range easily.
Murphy looks to score with a jab to the body but Gaara is just out of range.
We've been informed that Murphy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Murphy looks to land a body kick but Gaara moved away.
Murphy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gaara circles away quickly and effectively.
Murphy is looking to land body kicks.
Murphy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Murphy throws a series of strikes that have Gaara backpedaling.

Gaara throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Murphy misses with a few strikes there.
Gaara keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Murphy.

and Gaara counters with a body kick that stops Murphy in his tracks momentarily.
Murphy lands with a straight right. Gaara didn't see that one coming.
Murphy rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gaara counters with a good low kick that Murphy was not able to check.
Gaara jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Murphy lands a nice looking body shot.
Murphy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Murphy scores with a decent looking hook.
Cedric Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Gaara counters with a nice body kick.

Gaara scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Murphy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Murphy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Murphy closes the distance and catches Gaara with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Gaara is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Gaara is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Gaara is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Murphy takes it!
