The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kvasov tries to clinch but Rzic moves out of range.

Roman Kvasov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I was talking to Kvasov's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Rzic misses with a punch on the inside.
Kvasov lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Rzic or not.

Kvasov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rzic tried to score with a low kick but Kvasov checks it.

enabling Kvasov to counter with a crisp jab.
Kvasov steps in with a hook that catches Rzic right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kvasov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rzic looks absolutely devastated.
