Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bonald Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott has chosen Hell's Bells as his entrance music. Bonald Scott has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tony Brown's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tony Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bonald Scott!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott slips under a jab.
Brown misses with a wild combination.
Brown fails to land with a series of punches.
Scott swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Scott has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Scott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brown is fending him off so far but Scott persists. Nope, Brown circles away and we're back to standing.

Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Brown's guard.

Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Scott drops back, looking for a kneebar! Brown looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Brown looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Brown!
Scott tries to improve position but can't.
Scott felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Brown advances to mount.

Brown moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Scott has worked his arm free - good work by Scott!
Scott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Scott is trying to work for a sweep but Brown has mounted him!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bonald Scott dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Scott dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Scott's head and hops out.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Scott saw that one coming.
Brown stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brown wants it to stay on the feet.
Scott misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tony Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bonald Scott.

Brown throws a front kick aimed at Scott's knee but Scott avoids it well.

We've been told by Brown's head coaches at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Scott works Brown's body with a nice hook.
Scott has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Scott there as he acknowledges the shot.
Scott shoots in looking for a takedown but Brown manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Scott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brown missing with a left hand there. Scott was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tony Brown is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fighters circling - Brown throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Brown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Brown scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

and Scott counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brown won't be happy with that.

Scott tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Scott is trying to move to mount but Brown reverses beautifully and ends up in Scott's guard.
Brown is looking to advance position but Scott has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Scott lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Scott goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Brown is on top in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Scott swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Scott is letting Brown control him for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bonald Scott will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Scott closes the distance and clinches up with Brown, looking for a takedown. Scott pushes Brown against the cage but Brown circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Scott wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Scott off the cage and back into range.
Scott takes one to the chin there.
Scott avoids the body shot from Brown.
Scott tries to clinch but Brown is having none of it.
Scott slips a jab and a cross from Brown.
Brown misses with the combination.
Scott looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.
Bonald Scott is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Brown swings wildly with an uppercut but Scott uses good head movement to avoid it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tony Brown showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Scott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
