Barrantes comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pinchers - Bandelero kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrantes stuffs the takedown.
Hvjh Jklnilbui seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jklnilbui tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Barrantes swivels and escapes.
Barrantes shoots for a double leg takedown but Jklnilbui sprawls well. He's pushed Barrantes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Barrantes has his foot on Jklnilbui's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jklnilbui works his way back into a safe position though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jklnilbui stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barrantes swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barrantes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jklnilbui is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barrantes is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Jklnilbui is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Barrantes pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jklnilbui manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Barrantes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jklnilbui has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barrantes has managed to get both his arms back between Jklnilbui's legs - danger averted.

Barrantes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barrantes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Jklnilbui on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jklnilbui tries to get out of the position.

Jklnilbui is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barrantes defends well.

Barrantes has hold of Jklnilbui's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Jklnilbui tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Barrantes cranks the arm and Jklnilbui screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Jklnilbui, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
