The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Putkilo throws a big shot that misses.
Penn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Penn scoring well with a low kick there.
Putkilo has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Putkilo shoots in for a takedown but Penn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Putkilo fails to land the takedown.

Penn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Putkilo to the ground. Penn is now in Putkilo's guard.

Penn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Putkilo has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Penn is looking to defend but Putkilo has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Penn! Putkilo pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Penn taps out and this one is all over!
