Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Orton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark comes to the cage accompanied by Jay Z - Dig a Hole. Orton has chosen Kanye West - No Church In The Wild . as his entrance music. Thomas Stark has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stark but Stark pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Orton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Orton connects with a nice short shot to Stark's temple.

Stark's coaches at Le Prieuré de Sion have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Orton lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Stark quite badly. Stark pulls Orton in close trying to recover. Orton postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Stark on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Stark doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randy Orton!

Randy Orton very nearly forgot to thank Project Mayhem amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
