Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sigvard Aurelius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pelle Paniikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aurelius comes into the arena with T.I. - Go Get It blaring out of the sound system. Paniikki has chosen N'sync - Bye Bye Bye as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pelle Paniikki!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paniikki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Paniikki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aurelius fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Paniikki.

Sigvard Aurelius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Aurelius wants to get up but he can't break Paniikki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Paniikki isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Aurelius stacks Paniikki on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Aurelius!
