Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Alcatraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duece Delta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alcatraz comes into the arena with FIght Music blaring out of the sound system. Delta has chosen the tough guy song as his entrance music. Robbie Alcatraz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alcatraz tries to keep at a distance but Delta has taken the fight into the clinch.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Duece Delta hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Alcatraz lands a really nice looking cross but Delta seems unphased.
Delta dives in and grabs Alcatraz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alcatraz pushes down on Delta's head and hops out.

I was talking to Alcatraz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Delta stalling away here and it's allowed Alcatraz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Alcatraz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Delta isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Alcatraz stacks Delta on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Alcatraz!
