The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne lands with a kick to the ribs.
Churchill tries a head kick but it misses.
Churchill throws a half hearted mid kick.
Wayne lands a front kick.
Churchill tries a head kick but it misses.
Churchill tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wayne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Churchill takes one on the button.
Wayne works Churchill's body with a nice hook.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Churchill crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Wayne - the referee stops the clock and Churchill gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Wayne. Churchill manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Churchill throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Wayne counters with a left to the body.

Wayne waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Churchill. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Churchill to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

Churchill is rocked!
Wayne passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Churchill is still in real trouble! Can Wayne finish him?

Wayne has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Churchill is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Wayne yanks on the arm and Churchill is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Wayne.
