Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Goins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azrael Arkane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goins comes to the cage accompanied by 50 Cent- God Gave me style. Azrael Arkane told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goins defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Arkane.

Arkane shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Goins sprawls well. Goins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Arkane gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Arkane blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Arkane has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Goins is trying to keep an underhook but Arkane manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Arkane content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Goins has locked up a guillotine! Goins's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Arkane is holding on here and Goins must be using up a lot of energy. Arkane has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Goins gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
