Aspanuhkin is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kurul Aspanuhkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Will Do!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Do drives through with a takedown into guard.
Aspanuhkin is breathing heavily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Do is in close to Aspanuhkin's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Do controlling from the top position.
Do makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Do scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Do showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Aspanuhkin can't keep his opponent in guard - Do advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Do keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Do gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Do throws a head kick that misses.

Do closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Aspanuhkin's guard.
Do sitting in guard here, content to control.
Do landing with the ground and pound.
Do with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Do stays in close to Aspanuhkin's body and controls the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Do stands up from Aspanuhkin's guard - Do perhaps looking for a knockout.

Do shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Do decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Do wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Do throws a nice looking combination but Aspanuhkin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Do misses with a double jab.
Do misses with a two punch combination.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Do shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aspanuhkin is trying to defend but Do finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Nice strikes from Do there.
Do moves nicely into side control.

Do tries for a kimura but Aspanuhkin is defending well.

Do has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Aspanuhkin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Do cracks Aspanuhkin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Aspanuhkin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Do pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Aspanuhkin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Will Do!
