Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kuroda Atsushi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bonhomme Sept Heures (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sept Heures has chosen Monster Mash as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kuroda Atsushi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bonhomme Sept Heures!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Francis DeMontford.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sept Heures misses with a double jab.
Atsushi stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Atsushi throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sept Heures gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Atsushi scoring well with a low kick there.
Sept Heures feints and then cracks Atsushi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Atsushi down.
We've been told by Atsushi's head coaches at Masaru Fighting Systems that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sept Heures moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Atsushi moves out of range of the strikes.
Sept Heures gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Atsushi counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Sept Heures is trying is best to control the position here.
Sept Heures has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Atsushi is working away from the top position though.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Atsushi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee warns Sept Heures that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Sept Heures tries to lock up and control but Atsushi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sept Heures checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Atsushi lands with an uppercut that bounces Sept Heures off the cage and back into range.

Atsushi shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sept Heures manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Sept Heures pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sept Heures takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Atsushi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sept Heures checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Atsushi has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
