Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damian Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Damian Khan looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
It looks like Damian Khan has been cut.
Khan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Nguyen!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nguyen manages to work his way to half guard, despite Khan's best efforts.
Khan tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Nguyen tries to get to full guard but Khan has control of the leg.
Nguyen is trying is best to control the position here.

Nguyen wants to improve his position but Khan is controlling well.
We're going to have a standup here because Damian Khan wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Nguyen connects with a nice looking jab.
Nguyen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Nguyen throws a good cross that connects.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nguyen jabs Khan to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Nguyen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Nguyen connects with a nice looking jab.

Nguyen and Khan are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Nguyen throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Khan into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Nguyen knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
