Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roberto Blanco!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carlo Froch!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Froch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Blanco sprawls well initially but Froch persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Froch goes for a double leg but Blanco avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Blanco continues to drive forward.
Blanco throws a punch but it's blocked by Froch.
Froch wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blanco has him pressed against the cage.

Blanco lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
