The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machine gets a double leg takedown into Reyes's guard.
Machine is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at BLACKSMITH GYM - THE 25 Coach Las Vegas Mega-Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Machine looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Machine slips a nice elbow through Reyes's hands, connecting with Reyes's forehead.

Machine feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Reyes controls Machine momentarily but Machine frees himself.

Reyes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Machine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rock Machine overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Machine goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Reyes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Machine's guard! Nice work there by Reyes!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Machine is on top in guard.

Machine is nestled in close to Reyes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Machine is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Reyes doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Machine.
Machine working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
