The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nero fails to land with a series of punches.
Nero throws out a powerful jab.
Nero throws a combination but it was largely blocked by O Brien .
O Brien goes for a double leg but Nero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Nero continues to drive forward.
Nero has had enough of the clinch but O Brien keeps him there for the moment.
Nero is trying to break the clinch but O Brien is controlling him.

Nero breaks the clinch.
O Brien uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Nero.
O Brien uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nero.
Nero keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
O Brien looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
O Brien tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nero swivels and escapes.
Lenny Nero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donnie O Brien .

Nero wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
