Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Mitchelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gabriel Garcia is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchelson gets caught napping as Garcia dives in and scores a takedown. Mitchelson manages to retain guard.
Garcia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mitchelson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mitchelson looking for a guillotine here but Garcia defends easily.
Garcia drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Garcia jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Garcia tries to free his leg and advance position but Mitchelson is retaining full guard.
Garcia drops back looking for a leg! Mitchelson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mitchelson manages to kick Garcia off! Garcia jumps back into Mitchelson's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
What can Garcia do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Mitchelson is trying to stick to Garcia's back but Garcia is turning into Mitchelson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mitchelson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Garcia.

Garcia is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Mitchelson!
Garcia is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Mitchelson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Mitchelson shrugs it off.
Garcia working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Mitchelson sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Garcia throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mitchelson was covering up waiting for the punch and Garcia finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Garcia passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Garcia swings around for an armbar but Mitchelson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Garcia's guard.
