Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Solovyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jules Clement (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clement has chosen Ministère AMER - Sacrifice de Poulets as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clement clinches up with Solovyev and pushes him back against the cage.
Solovyev pushes Clement back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Solovyev tries a body shot but Clement blocks it.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Solovyev.

It looks like Jules Clement has been cut.
Clement swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Clement lands a left hand that snaps the head of Solovyev backwards.
Clement jumps guard but Solovyev stands there with Clement around his waist. Clement gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Solovyev misses with a punch on the inside.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Clement has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Clement fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Solovyev.

Solovyev will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Solovyev's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Clement connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Solovyev scrambles back to his feet.
Solovyev misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Clement feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Solovyevs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A slapping leg kick lands for Clement.

Clement backs away from a small jab... but Solovyev lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Clement crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Solovyev with a spectacular finish!

An out of breath Vladimir Solovyev thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
