Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Nujoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolli Poli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nujoma kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is King Fantastic - Why? Where? What?. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nujoma closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Poli is not content to let Nujoma control the position.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Poli tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Poli is still trying to improve position.
Poli is not content to let Nujoma control the position.

Nujoma is really struggling to control Poli but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Poli wants to control but Nujoma postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sam Nujoma wasn't doing enough on the ground.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nujoma.
Nice takedown defense from Poli. No joy for Nujoma on that attempt.

Nujoma shoots in looking for a takedown. Poli tries to sprawl out of it but Nujoma keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Poli manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Nujoma. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nujoma tries to score a power double leg takedown but Poli sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nujoma somewhat.

Nujoma stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poli swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Sam Nujoma.
