Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Project Charlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orin Juice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Charlie tries to clinch but Juice moves out of range.
Charlie digs a good hook to Juice's body.
A head kick misses from Charlie.

Juice throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Charlie was covering up waiting for the punch and Juice finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Juice slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
It looks like Juice might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Charlie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Juice is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Orin Juice.
Charlie tries to close the distance and clinch but Juice swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Charlie connects with a body shot.
Juice missing with a left hand there. Charlie was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Juice fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Juice keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Charlie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Juice pinned against the cage. Juice gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Charlie.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Project Charlie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Juice circles away from the clinch attempt.

Charlie throws a body kick that misses

and Juice counters with a takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Charlie is trying to improve his position.

Juice has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Charlie is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Juice yanks on the arm and Charlie is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Juice.
