The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mlodzinski forces France back against the cage and clinches.
France has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

France closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mlodzinski to the mat! Mlodzinski manages to get full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
France with a flurry of punches that miss.
France postures up in Mlodzinski's guard and throws a big left but Mlodzinski blocks it.
France seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A relieved looking Darwin France thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
