Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Kapaldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kajin Hitigaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitigaki comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Tupac ghost kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kajin Hitigaki!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitigaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kapaldi blocking some punches.
Kapaldi misses with a body punch.
Hitigaki drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kapaldi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hitigaki prevents a body shot from Kapaldi.
Kapaldi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Hitigaki has Kapaldi pushed against the cage.
Hitigaki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kapaldi pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hitigaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kapaldi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kapaldi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hitigaki doesn't seem bothered though.
Kapaldi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kapaldi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hitigaki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Donk. Kapaldi catches Hitigaki right on the button with a cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitigaki moves forwards but Kapaldi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kapaldi slaps away a takedown attempt from Hitigaki, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Pedro Kapaldi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kajin Hitigaki.
Hitigaki takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hitigaki walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hitigaki takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hitigaki darts in trying to clinch
and Kapaldi counters with a left to the body.
Kapaldi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hitigaki tries to clinch but Kapaldi moves out of range.
Kapaldi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Hitigaki doesn't seem bothered though.
Kapaldi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Hitigaki is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kapaldi lands with a nice body punch.
Decent striking displayed by Kapaldi there.
Hitigaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Kapaldi finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kapaldi tests Hitigaki's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hitigaki misses with a body kick.
Kapaldi circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kapaldi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hitigaki sprawling to the canvas! Hitigaki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kapaldi finish him?!
Kajin Hitigaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kapaldi walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hitigaki drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Kapaldi swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hitigaki's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pedro Kapaldi!
