The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corana tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ponjev sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Corana somewhat.
Corana wants to clinch

and Ponjev counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ponjev.

Ponjev breaks from the clinch.

Ponjev forces Corana back against the cage and clinches.
Ponjev slowing the pace effectively.

Ponjev manages to break the clinch.
Corana keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Corana throws out a leg kick but Ponjev moves out of range and Corana only half commits.
Corana tries to clinch there but Ponjev circles away.
