These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams ducks under a wild hook from Creel.
Williams misses with a straight right.
A leg kick checked by Williams.
Creel avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Williams gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Creel.

It looks like Kane Williams has been cut.
Creel checks a leg kick.
Williams lands a front kick.
Williams throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Creel swings for the body but Williams moves out of range.
Williams throws a nice head kick!
Creel has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mary Gracies Jiu Jitsu in the buildup to the fight.
Williams rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Creel moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Williams works Creel's body with a nice hook.
Creel does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Williams takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Williams scores with a hook to the body. Creel takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Williams lands a nice shot that snaps Creel's head back.

Williams throws a nice inside leg kick.
Creel is breathing heavily.
Williams lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

It looks like Carl Creel has been cut.
Creel is looking to land body kicks.
Creel throws a leg kick but Williams checks it.
Creel goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Creel thumps Williams with a low kick.
Williams throws a nice looking combination but Creel bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Williams walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Williams checks a leg kick.
Williams changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Creel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

A head kick lands from Williams that sends Creel to the canvas. Creel tries to scramble back to his feet but Williams brings him back down into side control.

Creel is rocked!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Williams has an Americana. Creel didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Williams is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Williams hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Carl Creel spoke after the fight, saying 'Meh body gassing, ghey...'.
