Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kris Kross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Didion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kross comes to the cage accompanied by Everyday Normal Guy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Didion swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

No joy there for Didion, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Didion lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kross has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kross and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Didion has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Didion throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Didion loads up on a big right hand but Kross slips the punch.
Kross has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kross there as he acknowledges the shot.

Didion throws out a loose jab but Kross uses good head movement to avoid it.
Didion throws a sloppy head kick and Kross moves out of range easily.
Kross shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Didion pinned against the cage. Didion gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
