Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Sobotka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marek Sobotka!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Robinson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Robinson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Robinson tries to clinch there but Sobotka circles away.
Sobotka throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Robinson counters with a thumping low kick.
Robinson moves out of range as Sobotka throws a body kick.
Sobotka looks to land a body kick but Robinson moved away.
Sobotka swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Robinson counters with a good low kick that Sobotka was not able to check.
Sobotka swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sobotka misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Robinson.

and Robinson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Sobotka has picked Robinson up - he's going for a ride! Sobotka dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Sobotka is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Robinson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sobotka.

Robinson tries to get to full guard but Sobotka has control of the leg.
Sobotka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Robinson keeps working.
Robinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sobotka on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sobotka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Sobotka thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
My spies in Iron Fist Training inform me that Sobotka has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Sobotka looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Sobotka is nestled in close to Robinson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sobotka seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sobotka in particular looking to stall.
Sobotka seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Robinson is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
