Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Winston Mcdonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Campos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Campos as he avoids it easily.

Campos gets tackled into the cage by Mcdonald. Mcdonald maintains the clinch.
Mcdonald drops down looking for an ankle pick but Campos pulls his leg out and moves away.

Campos closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mcdonald did well to prevent Campos getting side control.
Campos lands with a punch from half guard.
Mcdonald could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mcdonald flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Mcdonald works his way to full guard. Good work.
Campos really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcdonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mcdonald is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
