Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aminu Slice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rockmeteller Todd!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Slice 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Slice throws a body punch but Todd moves out of range.
Todd digs a good body shot into Slice's ribs.
Todd catches Slice with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Slice tries to clinch up but Todd circles away and keeps his distance.
Slice looks to score with a jab to the body but Todd is just out of range.
Slice misses with a body shot.
Slice walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Slice looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Todd smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Aminu Slice has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Todd forces Slice back against the cage and clinches.
Slice trying to stall but Todd improves his position.
Todd is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Todd lands a left hand.
Todd working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Todd lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Todd lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Slice backwards.
Slice tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Todd smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aminu Slice. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Good shot there by Todd.
Slice closes the distance looking to clinch
and Todd counters with a left to the body.
Slice is trying hard to land a takedown here. Todd sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Slice.
Todd cracks a nice hook into Slice's ribs.
Slice is breathing heavily.
Todd cracks Slice with a good jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slice will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Slice wants to clinch
and Todd counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Slice to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Todd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Rockmeteller Todd!
