The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Diaz or perhaps it was just good defense by Rogers which made him look bad.

Diaz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Rogers closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diaz's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Rogers is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at EvolutioN MMA Acadamy & Gym ( 12 ELITE Coaches ) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Diaz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rogers scores with a couple of nice shots.

Rogers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground.

Diaz is rocked!
Rogers softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Diaz is out cold! Rogers jumps to his feet and celebrates on the ropes with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sam Rogers!
Sam Rogers bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
