Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timo Jutila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martez Cortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jutila comes into the arena with The Best Is Yet To Come blaring out of the sound system. Timo Jutila is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortega tries to bum rush Jutila with a series of wild strikes but Jutila uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jutila throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Cortega is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jutila's half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jutila is trying to stand up here but Cortega is controlling him well.

Cortega decides to stand and escape the position.
Jutila displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cortega.

Jutila forces Cortega back against the cage and clinches.
Cortega is trying to force a seperation but Jutila has the dominant position.

Cortega moves in looking to clinch but Jutila pushes him off.

Donk. Jutila catches Cortega right on the button with a cross.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cortega looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cortega closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jutila did well to prevent Cortega getting side control.

Jutila manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Cortega keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Jutila wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cortega has him pressed against the cage.
Cortega tries to break free but Jutila pushes him back against the cage.
Cortega fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jutila fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Cortega throws an elbow that misses.
Jutila keeps control of Cortega as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cortega escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jutila clinches up with Cortega and pushes him back against the cage.
Cortega crunches a lovely knee into Jutila's ribcage.
Jutila avoids the elbow strike from Cortega, against the cage.
Cortega wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cortega jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jutila walks away with a smile on his face. Cortega gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Timo Jutila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martez Cortega.
Jutila swats away the attempt to clinch by Cortega.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jutila looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Cortega throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jutila throws a sloppy head kick and Cortega moves out of range easily.
Cortega throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jutila.
Cortega tries to clinch up but Jutila circles away and keeps his distance.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Cortega tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jutila swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cortega throws a right and a left that both miss.

Martez Cortega seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jutila cracks Cortega with a good jab.
Cortega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cortega takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jutila lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Cortega fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jutila connects with a combination that backs up Cortega into the cage. Jutila lands a flurry of punches that gets past Cortega's guard. Cortega is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Jutila bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
