Bob comes to the cage accompanied by Jungle Love- Morris Day And The Time . Williams is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Ringfinger. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Williams!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bob throws a wild body kick that Williams sees coming a mile off.
Bob connects with a right hand. Williams shakes it off.
Bob bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bob lands a glancing blow to the side of Williams's head.
Bob thows a body shot but no joy.
Bob takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bob pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Williams back to the cage. Bob follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bob tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bob throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bob throws a lazy uppercut
and Bob takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Williams misses with a straight right.
Bob misses with a hook.
Bob thumps Williams with a low kick.
Silent Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams throws a looping overhand right but Bob ducks down to avoid it.

Williams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bob sprawls well. Bob wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Silent Bob is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bob throws a jab when Williams was well out of range.
Bob is looking to clinch.
Bob misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bob lands a slapping body shot.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Bob moves out of range of the strikes.

Bob controls Williams momentarily but Williams frees himself.

Williams wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Silent Bob wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Bob throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bob takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bob dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Williams keeps the fight on the outside.
Bob blocks a jab.

Bob connects with a looping right hand.
Williams tries for a takedown but Bob sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bob here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Williams slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Both fighters circling a little - Bob finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Williams throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bob counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bob.
Bob lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Bob softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Bob lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Williams backwards.

Williams wants to take the fight to the mat but Bob manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Williams tries to work over Bob's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Bob comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Bob digs a right hand underneath Williams's ribcage. Williams let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Bob lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Williams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bob avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

A nice left hand lands by Bob.
Bob makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
I was talking to Bob's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
